The Wonder Stuff. The Eight Legged Groove Machine ( Re Issue 180g ) Release Date 4th December

Released in August 1988, The Eight Legged Groove Machine introduced The Wonder Stuff as a distinctive new force in British independent music. Produced by Pat Collier, the debut features the band’s original line-up and a lively blend of sharp-edged guitars, driving rhythms, melodic hooks and Miles Hunt’s unmistakable vocals.

Singles including “Unbearable”, “Give Give Give Me More More More”, “A Wish Away” and “It’s Yer Money I’m After, Baby” sit alongside fan favourites “Red Berry Joy Town”, “Grin” and “Ruby Horse”. Reaching number 18 on the UK Albums Chart and later certified silver, the album set the tone for the band’s celebrated follow-up, Hup.

This 180g vinyl reissue faithfully replicates the original Polydor UK pressing. Release date: 4 December.
