Talking Heads. True Stories ( Re Issue )

Talking Heads' quintessential 1986 album and soundtrack to the David Byrne film of the same name. True Stories captures the band at their creative peak, blending art rock sophistication with infectious rhythms and Byrne's trademark lyrical wit.

Featuring standout tracks like "Love For Sale," "Wild Wild Life," and "Radio Head," the album showcases the distinctive production of Stephen H. Busch and Laurie Latham alongside contributions from session luminaries including Paulinho da Costa on percussion and Tommy Morrell on pedal steel. The album's eclectic instrumentation—from St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School Choir to accordion and fiddle—reflects Byrne's fascination with Americana and everyday storytelling.

A landmark post-punk release that bridges art-school experimentation with pop accessibility. Essential listening for fans of new wave, post-punk, and alternative rock.
