Formed by Mark Dagley and George Condo (later renowned as a contemporary artist) after leaving the acclaimed Boston art-punk group Girls, Hi Sheriffs Of Blue emerged as one of downtown New York's most uncompromising experimental acts.

Their sound deconstructed traditional blues and country into raw, discordant, fast-paced noise—imagine DNA filtered through a crazed blues sensibility. They became fixtures at legendary venues including the Mudd Club and Tier 3, sharing stages with icons like Lydia Lunch and members of Basquiat's Gray.

This live recording captures performances from the Mudd Club and A7, preserving the energy and chaos that defined their brief but influential run. Essential for post-punk, no wave, and experimental music collectors.
