Blondie's second album Plastic Letters captures the raw energy and infectious pop-punk spirit of late-1970s New York. Released in 1978, this landmark record features the band's signature blend of new wave, disco, and punk influences, anchored by Debbie Harry's iconic vocals. The album includes standout tracks like "Denis," "Picture This," and "Hanging on the Telephone"—songs that defined an era and established Blondie as pioneers of the new wave movement. With its sharp production, memorable hooks, and fearless experimentation, Plastic Letters remains essential listening for fans of post-punk and new wave. A timeless classic and a must-have for any serious vinyl collection.
