Vent 414 was a short-lived UK project (1995–1996) featuring Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff), Morgan Nicholls (Senseless Things), and Pete Howard (The Clash, EAT). Named after the collective weight of its three members, the band recorded one self-titled album with Steve Albini at Abbey Road Studios before disbanding in late 1996. After decades apart, the trio reunited in 2024 at the invitation of producer Matt Terry. What began as a casual studio session yielded six new song frameworks in the first day alone—five of which appear on this new album. A rare document of three accomplished musicians reconnecting to create fresh material, capturing the chemistry that defined their original run across the UK, Europe, and the US East Coast.
