Recorded just months after their self-titled debut in 1970, Casino Boogie captures Black Sabbath live from Montreux Casino—a raw snapshot of the band in their formative glory. Tony Iommi's riffs cut with youthful abandon, Geezer Butler's bass growls with menace, and Bill Ward's drums swing between jazz-like looseness and thunderous force. Ozzy Osbourne's unpolished yet utterly magnetic vocals embody the dark mystique Sabbath was forging. This is heavy rock before superstardom—direct, unfiltered, and already rewriting the rules. A rare glimpse of the band at their most experimental and urgent.
Reissue states 2023 on cover but was actually released in 2025. Has sticker on shrink that states "Limited Splatter Vinyl Edition of 300"
